When: 6:00pm – 8:00pm on Thursday nights from October until April

The Burlington Flames is one of the most popular teams in Burlington’s Special Olympics community – and the enthusiasm is palpable! This mixed gender team age 12 and up is full of energy and every athlete is included as we learn basic to advanced skills and improve every week, applying everything we learn into a game environment.

Our younger and less experienced players learn to handle the ball and keep it under control while dribbling. Our players who have the moves and know the strategies are able to play challenging basketball – and it is impressive to watch.

We take part in regular tournaments with other Special Olympics teams in the South Central Region, throughout the season.
